Alfred Tembo is an arts journalist who studied Metal Fabrication and sheet Metal Work with intensions of becoming an artist before crossing the floor to pursue studies in media studies (Diploma). Tembo belongs to a new bred of Pan African creative writers; seeking to find pleasure in creating new progressive literature.
His literary works has been published in Zimbabwe and Zambia. In Motto Magazine, The Zambian Sunday Times, The Sun, The Business Express, Poetry Bulawayo website (Zimbabwe) among other publications. Some of his poems are to be featured in a Germany poetry anthology, "Whispers across the Continent" (Forthcoming 2012)
Alfred held public readings Gweru and Bulawayo (Zimbabwe), Chipata, Lusaka and Chingola (Zambia)
