Sometimes life suffocates, alienates and elates us
With its trials and triumphs, joys and sorrows
We choose either to run, run, stand still or persevere
We choose to love, to hate, to cry or to laugh
All in all, we must press on

Sometimes life brings happiness in its sunshine or sadness in its storms
With its twists and turns, ups and downs
We choose to either give up, give in or rise above
We choose to believe, doubt or do nothing at all
All in all, we must press on

Sometimes life is joy and other times it is pain and turmoil
With its half-reached goals and broken promises, we must remember
that there’s always dawn after the darkest night
So we must choose to have faith, perseverance and strength
We must choose to see dawn, see light see joy
All in all, life is life so we must press on
