Hope knows no what ifs
Its the illusion of flickering light
In a tunnel full of darkness
It`s what unites all men
A common bond
that keeps us struggling
always encouraging us to
take that one step towards our destiny
It`s the light that brightens in our eyes
when we know we have something to fight for
Hope is what keeps us walking
Blindly-
towards an unknown destination
It`s that faint whisper in our ears
always soothing…
and giving our hearts the will to forget
our torturous past
And forgive our foes
for the benefit of something great
Hope is that feeling we get
just before we close our eyes and go to sleep
The restlessness in our minds
and the longing for the daylight
Hope is what makes life worth living
And if you embrace it you become
fearless…
and everything else becomes possible!

It’s funny, not long ago I used to feel this exact way until, after feeling ravaged by time’s trials I sort of gave up. Still, a flicker remained and quietly it burns… Thanks for reminding me what to hope is. An Absolutely inspiring number.
