Heard it through the grapevine

I heard it through the grapevine
That she said no
But you forced yourself on her
What you did was vile and hideous
If I were you, I’d seek her forgiveness and then reform
Because you are treading on thin ice

I heard it through the grapevine
That you are refusing to pay taxes
On allowances paid by public money
What you are doing is immoral
If I were you, I’d listen to the people
Before they decide not to re-elect you

I heard it through the grapevine
That you planned and bankrolled
The killing of innocent people
What you did was unforgivable
If I were you, I’d own up to what I did
Before your sins catch up to you

I heard it through the grapevine
That you exploit your workers
And treat them worse than your pets
What you are doing is inhuman
If I were you, I’d change my ways
Because your days are numbered
