You represent a world in me
A world possible not born, until you arrived
And it’s only by this meeting
That a new world was born
You’ve taught me to wear a smile today
As this time takes me to a better time
To always be hopeful and optimistic
With you by my side
The sun shined bright
Everything seems like a dream
A dream that I wished
I never had to wake
Every twinkle in your eye
Reminded me of a moment shared
Every smile brought a good feeling, deep in my heart
But every look broke my heart
Because I knew that a day would come
When I’ll have to say goodbye
But I’ve learnt to hold your hand
Through times of sorrow
And let you find love, through a hug and a smile
I also know that it’s time let you go
For each of us must learn to grow
