Poetry: Have You Ever?

Have you ever felt so hurt you began to laugh?
Got so filled with joy, you cried profusely?
Have you ever got into a church and could hardly pray?
Paid for a room in a place and couldn’t stay..?

Have you ever been so awake in your sleep?
Or shut out the world with eyes wide open..?
Have you ever been so near and felt quite far
Taken a distant trip and felt right at home..?

Have you ever been so afraid you remained still?
Been so brave you took to your heels..?
Have you ever prayed to a God you didn’t believe in,
Had faith even when you had doubt within…?

Have you ever wanted what you can’t have?
Or had exactly what you never wanted..?
Have you ever wanted what you can’t have?
Or had exactly what you never wanted..?

Have you ever been so alone and felt surrounded?
Been in a crowd and felt so alone…?
Have you ever gone so fast u didn’t want to stop?
Or taken each moment slowly to make it count…?

Have you ever danced like no one’s watching
Yet in fact everyone was…?

Clearly this could go on forever
What am i saying exactly..??Well nothing much… Except
